In accordance with Article 66.3 of the Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA), Crossmint provides hyperlinks to the white papers and foundational documentation for the crypto-assets supported on our platform.
These documents provide detailed technical information, design principles, and specifications for each crypto-asset. We encourage all customers to review these materials to understand the characteristics, functionality, and risks associated with each crypto-asset before engaging in transactions.
Stablecoins
USD Coin (USDC)
Issuer: Circle Internet Financial Europe SAS ("Circle SAS")
Description: USDC is an e-money token ("EMT"), available on public blockchain networks. USDC provides a faster, safer, and more efficient way to send, spend, and exchange money around the world.
For every USDC issued by Circle SAS and remaining in circulation in the European Economic Area ("EEA"), Circle SAS will hold either one U.S. Dollar ("USD") or an equivalent amount of USD-denominated assets on behalf of holders, in order to facilitate the frictionless movement of the e-money tokens, utilizing blockchain technology. As a fully reserved e-money token, USDC is backed by an equivalent amount of U.S. Dollar-denominated assets held by Circle SAS and redeemable 1:1 for U.S. dollars.

EURC
Issuer: Circle Internet Financial Europe SAS ("Circle SAS")

For every EURC issued by Circle SAS and remaining in circulation, Circle SAS will hold either one euro ("EUR") or an equivalent amount of EUR-denominated assets on behalf of holders, in order to facilitate the frictionless movement of the e-money tokens, utilizing blockchain technology. As a fully reserved e-money token, EURC is backed by an equivalent amount of euro-denominated assets held by Circle SAS and redeemable 1:1 for euros.
