How do I get production access to Crossmint?

Last updated: September 22, 2026

Crossmint has two separate environments:

  • Staging (staging.crossmint.com) is free and self-serve. Create a project, generate API keys and build your full integration against testnets. No agreement, KYB or approval is needed.
  • Production (crossmint.com) runs on mainnets with real funds. Production features are gated: any product or add-on you use in production must be enabled under an enterprise agreement with Crossmint.

Getting production access

  1. Build and test in staging first. Everything you need to validate your integration is available there.
  2. Contact the Crossmint Sales team at crossmint.com/contact/sales, from your company email address, and include:
    • Your use case and who your end users are
    • The Crossmint products, chains and tokens you plan to use
    • Expected transaction and user volumes
    • The countries where you will operate
    • Your target launch date
    • Your staging project ID (Console → Project settings)
  3. Sign the Order Form. Sales will propose the commercial setup for the products you need. The Order Form is the enterprise agreement and defines the products, limits and pricing enabled for your account.
  4. Complete business verification (KYB). Our compliance team verifies your legal entity (formation, beneficial ownership, business purpose) as part of onboarding.
  5. Production is enabled. Once the Order Form is signed and KYB passes, the products in your agreement are turned on for your production project. There is no separate request to make. Your developers can then switch the integration over by following Staging vs Production in the docs.

If you operate as a sole proprietor or individual rather than a registered company, raise this with Sales before signing: eligibility and documents are confirmed case by case and depend on your jurisdiction.

Pricing

General pricing is on the Crossmint pricing page. Your final pricing, limits and enabled products are set in your Order Form and confirmed by Sales.

Frequently asked questions

I see "Project addon required" (or a product that works in staging is not enabled in production).

The feature is gated and is not part of your agreement yet. Contact Sales with your production project ID and the add-on named in the error. If you already have an agreement, reply to your Sales or onboarding thread instead so it can be amended.

I contacted Sales but have not heard back.

Reply to the confirmation email you received and include your project ID. Make sure your request came from a company email and includes your use case, expected volumes and target launch date; requests without these take longer to qualify.

Can Crossmint Support enable production or an add-on?

No. Production products and add-ons are enabled only through the agreement managed by Sales. Support can help with technical questions about your integration and can confirm which products are currently enabled on your project.

Do I need an agreement to use staging?

No. Staging is free and self-serve for all products.
